A double-dog design (except for the lightweight 12LT) protects against internal damage from sudden strikes.

Power Play. Penn's powerful HT-100™ lever drag system has the smooth stopping power to put the brakes on even the most determined offshore gamefish, run after punishing run. Pre-set drag pressure with the infinitely adjustable control knob, then use the 120-degree arc lever to choose free spool, strike and full drag settings for the extra pressure.

Get a Grip. The big game 80TW features a longer handle assembly and reinforced soft grip for more fish fighting leverage and improved comfort. Most other International® reels feature Penn's "fighting handle" that returns to a vertical position for easy gripping.
